Cindy Koza's journey began in 2017 with a chance encounter that would change lives! While caring for a friend with disabilities in her home, Cindy discovered her passion for providing compassionate support, leading her to license her home as an Adult Foster Care Home.
What started as a single foster home quickly blossomed into two, and during the challenges of COVID, the demand for professional, person-centered care inspired the opening of even more group homes in Lane County. Recognizing the need for diverse options for clients, Rise & Shine expanded its offerings to include Supported Living, In-Home Care, and Day Supported Activities, creating a vibrant community of support and opportunity.
Cindy has been a dedicated caregiver since she was just 16, and her passion for uplifting others is at the heart of everything she does. At Rise & Shine, we believe in empowering our employees to thrive, ensuring they feel valued and have ample opportunities for growth and learning. When our caregivers flourish, our clients benefit too. Our mission is to cultivate a supportive and inspiring atmosphere where everyone—caregivers and clients alike—can shine together!
